MITRE and MITRE Engenuity Focus on AgeTech Cyber Security, Grand Challenges, and Codesign Opportunities at CES®

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 4, 2023 – As Americans focus on how to stay healthy and remain in their homes as they age, MITRE and MITRE Engenuity are inviting CES® attendees to partner on grand challenges to catalyze innovation, collaborate in a co-design approach to shape meaningful AgeTech solutions, and to enhance related cyber security.

As part of AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP’s 7,000-square-foot booth at the Venetian Expo Center (Booth #52332), MITRE and MITRE Engenuity informaticists, research scientists, and engineers will be on-hand to lend deep expertise to events, panels, and pitch competitions and are available to discuss efforts to maximize “healthspan.”

PRESENTATIONS (all times local):

Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023

Sophisticated cybersecurity that detects elder fraud, superfast broadband to receive hospital-grade healthcare, and smart homes tricked out with tech that allows older adults to live safely and independently are just a few of the AgeTech use cases that are springing up on 5G connectivity. Come explore how 5G and the Open Gen Consortium are laying the foundation for age-friendly homes and cities worldwide.

You’ll hear from established companies who already serve older consumers and are eager for innovative ways to be more efficient and effective. Other companies want to break into the growing market of aging populations and are seeking inventive products or solutions to put on their roadmap.  And, organizations with a mission to reframe aging altogether, who are hunting for radical ideas to fund and accelerate.  Join us to learn the industry’s unmet needs for aging better; you just might have the answer they are looking for.
