Las Vegas, December 20, 2022 – After a successful exploratory tourism trial delegation in 2020, Business France and Atout France are organizing their first dedicated area for travel tech startups at CES 2023. Hosted at the French Pavilion (Eureka Park. Hall G, Booth 61611), the Travel Tech space aims to promote new initiatives and technologies in tourism, travel, and hospitality. With the travel industry rebounding robustly following the COVID- 19 health crisis – the US alone welcomed 22 million visitors in 2021 - travel and hospitality partners in the US need dynamic solutions to fulfill increased customer demand and respond to new industry challenges. The 8 French startups offer innovative technologies and solutions to help tourism and hospitality professionals adapt to this rapidly changing sector.
A DIVERSE AND DISRUPTIVE DELEGATION
The Travel Tech delegation includes exhibitors from various areas of the tourism and hospitality sector in response to growing trends. The increased interest in outdoor experiences seen in summer 2021 and 2022 will be well served by Moovert, a portal for booking rural lodgings and experiences. Travelers looking for bespoke travel experiences and quality customer service can utilize Travel Assist’s full service concierge application. Hotels will also be able to optimize their services with Quicktext’s AI-powered hotel customer service application or Luniwave’s technologies assisting with ecological transitions . In addition, with business travel and tradeshows returning to pre-COVID attendance levels, Odiho’s audio solutions and Captag’s smart event badges will be an asset for event organizers. Finally, the arts and creative travel experiences will be represented by Aglae Design’s patented glowing plant installations for events, Fanwaves’ group reservation platform for concerts and festivals.

A ROBUST PROGRAM OF PITCHES
The companies will be available for meetings throughout the CES. In addition, each company will have the opportunity to pitch their solution in front of industry stakeholders and potential partners at a Pitch Marathon event on Friday, January 6th at 5 pm hosted by the Blackfire Innovation Center. The event will be followed by a networking reception from 6 to 8 pm at the Center.
