Delta Electronics and Delta Controls to Offer Total Solutions for the HVAC Industry at AHR 2017

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Electronics, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, today announced the combined solutions offering of Delta Controls with other Delta building related equipment at their booth at AHR 2017. The collective products of Delta and Delta Controls create a one-stop-shop that represents the best offerings for facility managers, mechanical engineers, contractors and specifiers. The combination of Delta Controls' and Delta's expertise, in the controls and mechanical aspects of the building, respectively, will provide greater value to customers in terms of time, cost and system design.

"We've set out to create a one-stop-shop for those looking to design state-of-the-art buildings," said Joe Oberle, President of Delta Controls. "The synergies between Delta and Delta Controls have allowed for seamless integration focused on developing innovative offerings that provide even greater value to customers."

Delta's products are known for being reliable and energy efficient, providing greater value for end users. The addition of Delta Controls allows for an even more competitive, comprehensive product offering. It will also allow for a quicker, more streamlined engineering process, as compatibility between controls and other building equipment is ensured.

Delta Controls has been instrumental in the development and evolution of the BACnet™ open-protocol, the most widely used protocol within the industry, and was an early adopter of the technology more than 20 years ago. Delta Controls is a leader in innovative IOT solutions with their POE and IP connectivity at all levels of their product architecture. This knowledge will be leveraged to develop new interfaces for Delta's building products that will enable greater integration into the building network and greater transparency into the operation of the Building Automation System. This will enable more accurate preventative maintenance and efficient control. Furthermore, the ability to access Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) feedback and meter information will ultimately result in lower HVAC energy costs.

Delta also introduces the concept of a "Delta Building" to show the integration Delta Controls' solutions with a variety of Delta Electronics technologies and peripheral devices, including VFDs, power meters, EV Chargers, network switches, power suppliers, lighting, access, projectors, safety, and other Delta products. Delta Controls' communications, building controls, data acquisition and analytics know-how will also be leveraged to make Delta Electronics' products integral components of the building automation system.
