Viaccess-Orca intends to use the equipment to improve its testing process, when validating its partners’ hardware and software set-top box products. The system includes a rack for testing of multiple set-top box units which enables parallel execution of different test plans. It provides a single platform for functional, regression, stress and performance testing. Supported by a powerful real-time 4k UHD AV grabber device and a simple user interface/dashboard framework for creation of tests, test plans, and test execution scheduling, the system comprises a powerful A/V for a complete testing of diverse scenarios and set-top box features.
