Willow® Transforms Pumping Experience with First Truly Mobile All-in-One Breast Pump That Fits in a Bra
Survey results find Willow helps moms balance motherhood and takes the stress out of pumping

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Since launching in late 2017, the Willow Wearable Breast Pump has helped improve the lives of pumping moms and families across the country through its Beta program letting moms choose how to spend their time rather than limiting how she lives, survey results show. Willow is expanding distribution and will be available more broadly in 2018.

All moms want to give their babies the best start in life and for many that means breastfeeding, but most moms find they need to compromise in order to do this.  Willow is the first truly mobile all-in-one breast pump that cuts the cords, ditches the dangling bottles, and fits easily inside a bra.  Mobile and hands-free, Willow is the only breast pump that allows women the flexibility to pump discreetly on the move without being tethered to the wall or to a separate pump.

"We recognize that Willow is part of a larger effort happening to better the lives of women," says CEO and President Naomi Kelman. "We are a mom-first company committed to getting moms one step closer to balancing motherhood and womanhood, and it is heartwarming to hear how Willow is really making a difference for moms."

In a survey of more than 300 women who have used Willow for at least a month:

  • Over 80% reported that Willow helps them balance their lives and makes pumping less stressful
  • Over 90% stated they are able to multi-task while using Willow, the majority of which reported being able to relax and spend more time with family
  • More than 90% said that Willow makes it easier to pump in different places, 63% of which are pumping outside of the house

"Before Willow, I was about to quit pumping, which would mean quit breastfeeding," said Willow user Zoe K. "Willow has freed me from my old pump's tubes and wires that tied me and held me back from all the things I needed to do during my days.  I have my self respect back with Willow and my daughter has months more breastfeeding to look forward to."

Willow will unveil new products at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show, including a soft gray colored pump and enhanced app experience.  "The Willow Beta program has been about listening to moms and adding new features they are looking for," says CTO John Chang.  "Willow's new product offerings come as a direct response to moms' feedback to have additional neutral colors, and the ability to track past pumping sessions in the app."

Willow, a CES Best of Innovation Awards Honoree, will be appearing at CES, January 9-12, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nevada, during the Baby Tech Summit, Booth #43359 Sands Convention Center. Willow will also display at the ShowStoppers and Pepcom Digital Experience! events.
