MobileHelp Connect Platform Gives Consumers Easy-to-Use Access to its MobileVitals® Telehealth Solution

LAS VEGAS – January 5, 2016 – Empowering patients with a new solution to proactively address broader health management, MobileHelp®, a leader in mobile Personal Emergency Response System (M-PERS) solutions, recently launched the online management of the MobileVitals® telehealth solution on its MobileHelp Connect® portal.

Customers are now able to take their vital signs from selected peripherals, collected through the new MobileVitals Blue Tooth Low Energy (BLE)-enabled base station. Data is then collected, tabulated and presented to customers through the MobileHelp Connect secure portal.  Data will be available for the customer and any caregiver they authorize to view the information.

To access MobileVitals data as part of the MobileHelp Connect portal, customers merely need to sign in online or through the corresponding mobile app and select the application within the user-interface.  Data from the peripherals will be displayed and can be viewed in graph format for selected periods of time; daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.  In addition to collecting and tracking MobileVitals vital sign information, the MobileHelp Connect online portal also features:

  • My Circle: a new relationship management feature, My Circle allows people to define and customize with whom they want to share their data.
  • Optional Medication Reminders Application allows customers along with their authorized caregivers or family members to manage their medications, within MobileHelp Connect.  It offers the ability to view important prescription information such as dosage days and times, add new prescription information, set and change medication schedules, and push out a medication reminder alert and vocal announcement through the MobileHelp cellular base station. 
  • Activity Tracking: works in tandem with the MobileHelp Fall Button™ automatic fall detection pendant, which consistently tracks the movements of the wearer.  In addition to automatically detecting if the user has fallen and issuing an emergency notification, this new Activity Monitoring Application will track the customer’s activity levels on a daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly basis – and compare those rates over time.
