LAS VEGAS (Jan. 5, 2017)—Today at CES 2017, taking place from January 5-8, Polk Audio, a high-performance audio brand with a 40 plus-year legacy of sound engineering and design, announced its first home theater sound bar under $200, the Signa S1 ($179). Standing at only 2 inches tall, the low-profile Signa S1 sound bar delivers spacious sound and deep bass with an included slim wireless subwoofer for music and home theater applications. Designed with 5.1 Dolby Digital decoding, Polk’s patented Voice Adjust™ and Bluetooth technologies, the Signa S1 delivers a listening experience far beyond the capabilities of any TV’s built-in speakers.

The competitively priced sound bar can be set up in minutes with the included optical cable and boasts several features to improve the listening experience.  This includes improvements to TV shows, movies and music, including one-button preset EQ settings like “Movies,” “Music,” and “Night” modes all aimed at tailoring the listening experience quickly and easily.

As part of a larger family of sound bars designed by Polk Audio, the Signa S1 joins the recently announced ultra-compact MagniFi Mini ($299) sound bar. Despite its low-profile and 13.5” length, the MagniFi Mini delivers massive home theater surround sound via 5.1 Dolby Digital and Polk SDA technologies. Both sound bars feature Polk’s patented Voice Adjust technology improves vocal clarity for crystal clear dialogue. • MagniFi One ($299.99) — The MagniFi One includes  Voice Adjust, a super slim design and rich room-filling sound, while also adding new technologies. Some key features include night mode, which drops the low frequency response of the sound bar and sub’s driver array. Also included are Bluetooth and SmartBar™ capabilities, which allow seamless integration with your cable box or TV’s existing IR remote while delivering quality sound from your smartphone, tablet or other compatible device.
