Features That Focus on Achieving Goals
To start, the Perfect Blend app suggests a nutrition program based on goals, such as doing a detox, eating more super foods, consuming more protein or losing weight. The app offers a weekly meal plan and automatically builds a shopping list, which can be shared across all smart devices. For people who want to be intentional about and track their calories, the Perfect Blend app also provides nutrition content for their meals. Simply weigh the portion to be consumed and the app calculates nutritional values, making it easier to plan and stick to dietary goals or restrictions.
The Perfect Blend app features more than 200 taste-tested recipes developed by in-house chefs for smoothies, soups, dips, sauces, milkshakes, doughs, and baby food, with more recipes added regularly. For those with specific dietary goals or needs, the database includes sugar-free, gluten-free and vegan recipes. People can also add their own favorite recipes, which can be included in their meal plan and shopping list.

Making a delicious blended recipe is effortless with Perfect Blend. Simply, choose a recipe and use the scaling feature to change the desired serving size or scale the recipe to an ingredient amount on hand. The app automatically adjusts all ingredients while maintaining the correct proportions. Select the blender type and the app will organize the ingredients so that they are added in the right order. Next, place any blender jar on the smart scale and follow the onscreen pouring instructions. As an ingredient is added, the virtual jar fills up in real time and “dings” when the desired amount has been poured.
“Measuring ice or fruit by volume is incredibly inconsistent. A cup of ice or strawberries can hold vastly different amounts depending on the shape, size or cut. Measuring by weight is the only way to ensure that the same amount of an ingredient is blended each time,” added Barri.
Along with the app, Perfect Blend features the most accurate kitchen scale on the market, measuring from 6 kg down to 0.1 grams. This professional grade, wireless scale has a backlit LCD screen as well as directional buttons, which can be used to navigate the app and light up to correspond with any in-app actions. The scale also works as a standalone kitchen scale and timer when not using the app.
Perfect Blend includes a smart scale and free interactive recipe app (downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Perfect Blend, Perfect Drink and Perfect Bake are all compatible with Apple devices with iOS 6.0 and higher, and Android devices with OS 4.3 or higher, including Kindle Fire and Nook.
