Liz here — co-founder and CEO of Lioness. Our company made a splash on the internet in 2017 for creating the first vibrator that uses patented biofeedback technology to help you improve your sex life.
Now, we’re making a good thing even better:
Lioness Generation 1 (2017) uses precision sensors and biofeedback to show your arousal and orgasm on an intuitive mobile app.
Lioness Generation 2 (launching mid-2020) provides AI-assisted guidance, based on years of working with Lioness customers, analyzing data on 30,000+ orgasms, conducting dozens of user studies, and incorporating the latest machine-learning developments.
Translation: Lioness is creating personalized tools so people can learn what works best for them, gain new insights, and improve their pleasure (and yes, that includes better orgasms).
We’re so happy to be officially launching at CES, who has invited sextech companies to participate for the first time ever. As a leader of the newest and most technologically advanced innovations in sextech, we’re excited to unveil Lioness Generation 2 at the largest technology conference in the world and are a Top 10 Finalist (out of hundreds of applicants) for the Last Gadget Standing Award, one of the longest-running events produced by Living in Digital Times (LIDT) in partnership with CTA.

Co-founder and CEO of Lioness
Founded by ex-GoogleX and Amazon technologists and developed from more than four years of research and development with sex researchers and doctors, Lioness brings patented technology previously only ever seen in research labs into a sleek, easy-to-use vibrator with an intuitive mobile app. Although Lioness may look like a basic sex toy, it’s the first and only vibrator to improve orgasms through its unique biofeedback and precision sensor technology — and coming soon, with AI-guidance.
In November 2019, Co-founder and VP of Engineering Anna Lee was selected as Forbes 30 Under 30 for 2020, and Lioness won the Women’s Health Innovation Spotlight Powered by Johnson & Johnson. Lioness is also the first vibrator company to have public ads at bus stops across San Francisco.
Most recently, Lioness was selected from hundreds of applicants as one of the top 10 finalists for Last Gadget Standing, one of the longest-running events produced by Living in Digital Times (LIDT) in partnership with CTA. With thousands of Lioness Vibrators sold, we are revolutionizing the way we approach sexual pleasure.
How the technology works:
When will Lioness Generation 2 be available?
Lioness Generation 2 will be available to all Lioness users (including Gen 1 users) in mid-2020.
Note: Generation 2's app, firmware, and features is backward compatible for people who already have a Lioness — we know this is a premium device and want people to be able to use what they already have (with ongoing new features/functionality) for years to come.
