Argrace Shines in CES Debut with Smart Home System Compatible Across All Protocols

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Argrace, China's leading smart home solutions provider, has wowed attendees at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES or "the Expo") with its consolidated smart home system. Presented in a real home scenario, the Argrace system demonstrates what a smart home of the future will look like. It is also the first smart home system compatible across devices and protocols, making Argrace a bellwether of the sector and a highlight of the expo.

The home devices and products on display at the Expo are from different brands and use different protocols, but they work perfectly with the Argrace smart home system. The system is the only one in the industry that is compatible across a range of protocols such as zigbee, Bluetooth, Modbus and NB-IoT.

"We are very happy to share the Argrace smart home system with the wide audience at the Expo and are excited by the enthusiastic response that our technology has generated," said Lin Wei, CMO of Argrace. "This successful roll-out on such a high-profile stage is a breakthrough, both professionally and personally, for everyone on the Argrace team, who are all intensely creative and hard-working. The founder of Argrace, Mr. Gu Zhicheng, used to work for the Alibaba Group as the General Manager of their IoT sector; he was involved in the development of 'Kanbox,' the Chinese version of Dropbox. His emphasis on R&D has filtered down into every corner of Argrace, with many of our key members in the development team coming from Alibaba Group."

"We want to help people create homes that have life, and that are constantly improving. The Argrace system will be 'learning' from users' profiles and continuously update to be more accurate and intelligent. We also want to make our system a more accessible and affordable one. It is our mission," added Lin.

This is the first time that Argrace has appeared at CES. The smart home on display impressed visitors and exhibitors with a wide range of "magic" devices and technologies. Powered by AI and the Internet of Things (IoT), the Argrace system creates a big data repository that can be analyzed to produce profiles based on users' habits, as well as anticipate or recommend the right home ambience and home products, and provide suggestions for healthcare, diet, exercise etc.

For example, there was a Magic Mirror on display at the expo that delivered suggestions for health improvement merely through skin contact with the user. The Magic Mirror, featuring Argrace's smart O2O system, was attached to a digital weight scale and attracted a long line of people waiting to try it. The Argrace system also features sensor-less control of electronic appliances and home fixtures, which were also on display at the expo. The sensor-less control feature was particularly well-received by visitors from the States for it is quite useful for large living spaces.

Equipped with a creative and dedicated team, Argrace aims to expand its business to overseas markets in the future. It has reached out to a real estate property company in Los Angeles and communication about partnership is underway. With offices in major cities in China including Shenzhen and Nanjing, Argrace has a team of some 100 people and has built partnerships with leading players in real estate in China, such as Vanke and Suning.
