Second Annual CES CyberSecurity Forum Presented By CyberVista Brings Together Top Cyber Experts To Tackle Current And Looming Cybersecurity Challenges
Experts from Intel Security, RSA, and Dell will headline the day-long forum on January 5th in Las Vegas

ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading cybersecurity experts are slated to gather at the second annual CyberSecurity Forum at CES 2017 in Las Vegas on January 5, following a tumultuous year in cybersecurity that included the largest publicly-disclosed data breach of all time and the rise of attacks enabled by the Internet of Things (IoT). The day-long forum, presented by cybersecurity and workforce development company CyberVista, will address the critical challenge of securing the latest technologies coming to market.

"CES is the renowned gathering place for technology companies from around the world as they unveil the latest technologies for consumers," said Amjed Saffarini, chief executive officer of CyberVista. "Yet today, those consumers are increasingly aware of privacy and security concerns associated with innovations like self-driving cars, augmented reality and the Internet of Things. If these new, connected technologies are to achieve widespread adoption, cybersecurity must be a part of the discussion."

"CyberVista's CES CyberSecurity Forum puts a necessary spotlight on cybersecurity and adds to the strong presence of cybersecurity solutions at CES," said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, CES and corporate business strategy, Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which owns and produces CES. "CyberVista has assembled a dynamic group of cybersecurity experts and business leaders for this critically important and timely discussion."

Dan Tynan, former editor in chief of Yahoo! Tech and contributing editor for PC WorldInfoWorld and Family Circle magazine, will emcee CyberVista's CES CyberSecurity Forum, and will be joined by industry luminaries, including: Gary Davis, chief consumer evangelist, Intel Security; Brett Hansen, vice president, Dell Data Security; Rita Marty, executive director, AT&T; Denise Zheng, senior fellow and deputy director, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS); and, Zulfikar Ramzan, chief technology officer, RSA.

CES CyberSecurity Forum presented by CyberVista attendees will benefit from a highly-interactive experience as experts explore topics such as password protection, IoT security challenges, regulating cyberspace, the best ways to train and prepare the next generation security workforce, and why cybersecurity must start with corporate boards and executives.

The CES CyberSecurity Forum will take place on Thursday, January 5 from 9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m. at the Venetian, Level 4, Lando 4301. A separate registration and conference fee is required. For a complete agenda and registration information, please visit CEScybersecurity.com.
