Flexpoint and Mettis Trainer® Capture Recognition at Consumer Electronics Show 2016
The Company also receives production orders at CES 2016 for other uses

DRAPER, Utah, Jan. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (FLXT) is pleased to announce that the recently completed CES 2016 (Consumer Electronics Show) was clearly a success for the company.

Establishing itself as one of the largest trade shows in the world annually, CES 2016 attracted approximately 170,000 people and thousands of companies were represented. Longstanding Flexpoint customer and collaborator, Bend Tech, LLC, and the award winning Mettis Trainer®, featuring a custom designed Flexpoint Bend Sensor®, were recognized as an Honoree award winner for Innovation in the Health, Fitness and Biotech category.

People from around the globe came to the conference booth as well as to the CES Innovation Center to better understand the uniqueness of the Mettis Trainer® and began to visualize how this exciting advanced technology could impact their lives. Further recognition was garnered by Mettis Trainer® with independent digital media specialist and product reviewer, Tom's Guide, recognizing Mettis Trainer®  as one of their "Best of Show" award recipients, a "Top Ten" designation by UK based PHA-Media http://bit.ly/1OKDW2f, and ad-hoc review recognition coming from NBA Hall of Famer – Mr. Bill Walton – in this CES fitness technology review: http://bit.ly/1RJPDLL.

Additional Flexpoint partnerships were enhanced or established at the show with two notable new companies committing to bring their wearables driven virtual reality and toy/gaming technologies to market featuring the Bend Sensor®. One of these relationships in particular is coming out of end stage prototype design and on the brink of mass commercialization which should result in meaningful revenue contribution to Flexpoint in 2016. Multiple new leads were garnered and these freshly established relationships should yield further new business opportunities and revenue streams for Flexpoint as 2016 unfolds and beyond.

Commenting on the show, Paul Sexauer, Flexpoint's VP of Sales & Marketing states, "In some ways CES 2016 represents a coming out party for Flexpoint in the sense that so many people representing companies we would be proud to work with now recognize how the Bend Sensor® is differentiated and can truly help make both today's and tomorrow's innovations stand out from the crowd." Sexauer added, "It is a non-trivial task to definitively distinguish one's technology over a thousand others at CES; so something is special when we were able to so clearly demonstrate just that at CES 2016."
