New advanced technologies for wireless audio playback go beyond wireless Multi-room, the ability to play music simultaneously on multiple connected devices, to the introduction of "Wireless Surround" and "Wireless Stereo," providing a more powerful audio and video and experience. Wireless Surround enables a real surround sound environment by combining a sound bar as front speakers together with two wireless speakers as the rear speakers, enabling an immersive TV watching experience. Wireless Stereo enables users to set two wireless speakers as left and right stereo speakers to maximum the stereo effect and provide high volumes with powerful sound.

"In a world that is increasingly becoming more connected, it was a natural progression for us to continue introducing products that work together wirelessly to create the optimal listening experience," said Mike Fasulo, President and COO of Sony Electronics. "With this new lineup of products, consumers – especially audio enthusiasts – will have even more freedom to create an immersive audio experience throughout their home."
